Boston's First album is a classic front to back. Every song was a radio hit back in the day and classic rock stations will still play any song from the album. I've included three songs from the second album and one from the third. This is how I have them on my iPod with the four later songs forming an EP. Not many people knew at the time but the first album was recorded entirely in Tom Scholz's basement. One of the first home recording projects to make the mainstream.

    I might expand it a bit to include "Dreams" from Barry Goudreau's solo and "There's Another Side" by RTZ

      I like Dreams and can see why you would add it to the list. As some comments I saw say, it's the best Boston song that was never a Boston song. The RTZ is good but not quite Bostony enough to add but good enough to track down and purchase. Thanks for the heads up.

      Sorry, no downloads for this blog. Everything is available for purchase or download on some of the other music blogs. These are just lists of some of my favorite songs, to paraphrase Julie Andrews.
